Article in the APU Paper!

We hope everyone was able to catch our recent radio appearance! If not, you'll get a second chance because KKLA is going to be doing trip updates with us throughout the journey. Be sure to listen next time around.

For all of you who are not on the APU campus you might have missed our recent article in The Clause. All thanks goes to Kirstina Bolton for so beautifully capturing what TRFR is all about!

Equipment Arrives! (Thanks to North Face)

Yesterday, we got our first equipment shipment from North Face. They provided us with two of their amazingly light, yet still wonderfully warm, Orion sleeping bags. C.J. and Leighton decided to test them out immediately and spent the night outside (see picture below). Despite one run in with the Azusa Pacific sprinkler system the bags exceeded expectations.

New Sponsor!

We are happy to announce that we have received a new sponsorship from The North Face. They will be providing us with free sleeping bags for the trip and discounts on anything else we need from them. As always, let them know how much you appreciate their helping us by going out and buying some of their amazing product!

We have also gotten some help a little closer to home with a sponsorship by the APU Office of Global Missions. You'll be seeing their logo on the back of the forth coming t-shirts.
